As part of activities marking his birthday anniversary, chairman of the Evbie Andrew Foundation, Evang. Comr. Evbie Andrew Okiemute has awarded full time scholarships to an undergraduate, Lucky Omofoyo to study any course of his choice, anywhere in the world and three other pupils.
Evbie, moved by compassion on seeing the tears of the young man caused by his desire for better education, promised to leave no stone unturned in his quest to ensure his people get a better life, adding that he will always continue to prioritize education and human capital development.
The recipient, Lucky Omofoyo from Afiesere community, couldn’t hold back his joy, with tears running down his eyes, he promised to be of good conduct and a good ambassador of the foundation.
Earlier, Evbie who was a special guest at the Parleys Pride quiz competition for primary schools, also placed the winner of the competition, alongside the two runner up on full time scholarship from primary to their graduation from the university.
Evbie Andrew who is fondly called Mr. Scholarship and the Empowerment Minister by his plethora of admirers, has made it a trademark to always us any available opportunity to put a smile on face of his people.
He stated the readiness of the foundation to attend expediently to issues affecting his people, from Women/Youth Empowerment, Scholarship for indigent students, Medicare and Mentorship, Evbie promised not to rest till the lives of his people are uplifted and transformed.
